• Cultivate a strong and transparent working relationship within the group and ensure open communication
• Provide support and motivation to other members of the group
• Ability to listen, communicate and seek input from others
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills which support and enable sound decision making
• Motivating Committee members, encouraging those with key roles to take ownership of their own areas of responsibility, along with the growth and development of others

• Give confidence to our members, funders and the wider community to ensure public support
It is an exciting time to join our team!
K9 Rescue Group is currently building a new kennel block, which is due for completion in February 2023. Over the last two years we have had the support of an amazing group of individuals who have worked together to implement many changes and improvements. We have a new strategic plan, the wonderful support of the local community and an exciting new direction in the rehabilitation of dogs in our care.
Previous experience as a Board member or volunteer is not essential, however we are seeking someone with experience in management and business administration.
Our Committee members work from home at times that suit their schedule and monthly committee meetings are held remotely via video chat. We regularly stay in touch via WhatsApp, email and phone calls.
Our current team members will work alongside you to provide a hand over and will be available for questions into the future as you become comfortable with the role.
