Role Description:
SEDA College WA is a not-for-profit Senior Secondary College with various campuses across WA (Perth and Bunbury). Our Head Office is in Wembley. We are currently seeking a volunteer to sit on our College Board. Our term of appointment is four years.

The successful candidate should have:
Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team environment.
Have a Directors ID, valid WWC card and Police Clearance, or have the capacity to attain them (all costs associated with attaining these documents will be covered by the College).
A background or experience in HR, Finance, Education, Compliance and/or Risk Management is desirable but not essential.
Experience in strategic planning is desirable but not essential.
Have an interest in alternative streams of education.
The position will involve attending eight board meetings per calendar year, including one additional start of year strategic workshop. Meetings can be held online or in person (the board will identify key meetings where physical attendance is preferred) and run for approx. two hours at a time. It may also require attending seven sub-committee meetings per year that run for approx. one hour at a time. Outside of meetings, a commitment of one to two hours per month would be expected.
